Emergency killing

When animals are injured, or have a disease associated with severe pain or suffering, emergency killing may be the best, or only, option to alleviate the animal’s suffering. HSA Learn provides courses and guidance which is intended to assist animal keepers, slaughter and knacker personnel, vets, transporters and others in planning for and dealing with humane emergency killing of livestock.
